Our
Museum has been established over 14 years at our present
location. This building was opened officially on 10th
June 1994 by the NZRSA President David Cox MBE.
Over
the years relics, memorabilia and documentation related
to the Armed Forces of both New Zealand and other
countries have found a home at the Museum, and many
items of interest are on display. Items such as these
assist us to build a wider understanding of our past and
also to store parts of our Service Heritage for the
future and education of our contemporaries and
subsequent generations.
For
these reasons please ensure you visit the Museum and
bring along your grandchildren and other youth of today,
so that they become truly enlightened as to the correct
historical information, and develop a proper
understanding of the Services and their role in the
history of the world.
