Silverdale & Districts Golf Section

The Golfing Division has had a fairly active month taking up three Sundays.  Firstly the Henderson RSA  staged a golf day at the RNZAF Whenuapai course.  Eight RSA's were represented.  Papakura RSA won the day with Silverdale finishing second equal.  Plenty of drinkable prizes were taken away that day. 

Well Done Team.  Whangaparaoa Golf Club staged a Rum for Fun Day on their course inviting Silverdale and East Coast Bays who teamed up to challenge Whanga, unfortunately we finished second, great turn out. Good sponsors who donated top prizes, Quite a few worn out players leaving those clubrooms that day. Finally last Sunday Helensville Golf Club hosted both Silverdale and East Coast Bays again, starting off with a cholesterol full breakfast that was later walked off around the course, unfortunately the numbers competing were not as good as previous years, so come on Golfers out there join in our fun, sign up and experience a Great Bunch of Guys enjoying a Day out Golfing.  Once again

Helensville put on four seasons in one day weather but the course was perfect reflecting in the golf score cards.  Our final outing for the year is on the 13th December possibly playing at Whangaparaoa but check the notice board anyway. 

After the day a BBQ is planned to be held at the Silverdale RSA starting at 4.30 pm, tickets $10.00 each,  payment to Bryce.  This is for Golfing Club members and partners-please we would appreciate early payment so numbers can be forwarded to Bernard for Catering purposes.  Please join in at the Golf and after function.  Contact Craig, Paul or Bryce C/- the RSA
