Welcome to all our new members who joined the
Club this month.
Increased Bar Prices
Our suppliers have advised that their prices
will be increasing due to an increase in
Government Excise tax of
2.1% and increases in operating, distributing
and material costs. Regrettably, we are not able
to absorb these
increases so as at Monday 5th July 2010 Glasses
of Beer and Soft drinks will increase by 10
cents, Schooners,
Half Handles, Handles and Small Jugs of Beer and
Soft Drink will increase by 20 cents, Jugs of
Beer and Soft Drink will increase by 40 cents,
Pack Beer will increase by 20 cents, Spirits
will increase by 10 cents, Glasses of Wine,
Small bottles of Wine and RTD will increase by
20 cents and Bottles of Wine will increase by
$1.00. We shall also be charging for Cordial at
20 cents a glass or handle and 50 cents for a
Jug. In order to keep our price increase to the
minimum we have had to do away with our Happy
Hours on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings.

Welfare
From the 1st
July 2010 Waitamata District Health Board will
be charging for parking at North Shore Hospital.
We have written to them to ask for an exemption,
but we are told there are to be no exemptions
and everyone must pay. The Parking fee is $2.00
an hour with a maximum of $10.00. The RSA,
regrettably, can not absorb this cost so members
please be aware that if you are being taken to
North Shore Hospital you will need to pay the
parking cost.
Many organisations these days ask people if they
would bequeath a small amount in their will. We
would ask that members give this matter their
consideration and maybe bequeath an amount to
our Welfare fund knowing that the money will be
well spent on those we know are in need.
Library News
The Library is being well used by our RSA
members, which is nice to see. We have an
ever-increasing good variety of Books, Video’s,
DVD’s & CD’s but there are still a number of
members using our Library as a dumping ground
for old books & magazines. Please put these out
for recycling as it creates more work . I’ll be
on Holiday for all of August. If anyone has any
time to spare to take over the Library for that
month I would appreciate it. Please leave a
contact number at the RSA Office for me if you
can help out.
RAZZA Update
Razza our Cat has had her operation and you will
have noticed that she is already looking better
and seems happier. A big thank you to all those
who helped towards the costs involved. She will
be on a special diet from now on and any
donations towards the cost of her food would be
gratefully appreciated.
Lost Property
We have quite a collection of lost property at
the Bar so please next time you are in don’t
forget to check to see if any of it is yours.
Reminder
Please return your glasses to the Bar, plates to
the Restaurant and put your rubbish in the bins
provided when you leave. This can save the Club
a lot of money in wages.
